- I completed the textual analysis of the posters and magazines.
- I began to analysis ' The Fault In Our Stars' trailer.
Tuesday 16th September -
- Today I completed a timed analysis of the film trailer 'The Fault In Our Stars' as I want my film trailer to be based on it.
- I also continued with my magazine textual analysis and completed two of the three magazine cover analysis's.
Tuesday 30th September -
- Completed all three timed analyses.
- Completed conventions for my genre.
- Looked at romance film posters and magazines.

Tuesday 7th October:
- Created documents on character's information.
- Created potential title ideas for main task along with questionnaire which was completed and final title idea selected.
- Created potential title ideas for magazine cover along with questionnaire which was completed and final magazine cover name was selected.
- Created skeleton layouts for both ancillary tasks (magazine and poster).
Thursday 9th October:
- Today I created a rough copy of the magazine cover design for my film trailer and used students in the class to photograph.
- Today I created a rough copy of the poster design for my film trailer and used students in the class to photograph.
Tuesday 14th October:
- Today I completed the location scouting sheet.
- I started on the audio permission.
- I analysed existing company logos and started creating my own using After Effects.
Thursday 16th October:
- Today I started and completed the initial ideas PowerPoint of my film trailer.
- Today I also started and completed the secondary research for the main task.
- I also looked into potential quotes and wrote some down.
Tuesday 21st October:
- Spent the lesson adding to the secondary research for ancillary tasks, editing/changing the textual analysis to make it more analytical and looked into editing the research for shoots for the ancillary tasks.
Thursday 6th November -
- Today I focused on titles: I looked into the titles found within existing romance film trailers and then looked into what titles I might use in my trailer. I created a title test that featured possible titles and the music for my trailer and put it on the blog.
Tuesday 11th November -
- Today uploaded the shots that I practised on the weekend and edited them on Premier Pro.
- I also went out and took some practise shots again and uploaded them to Premier Pro.
- I also thought more about my trailer and what I want within it.
- I wrote a rough trailer structure that I would like to use for my final trailer.
Thursday 13th November -
- Uploaded camera movements to Youtube and then to Blogger.
- Finished main influences for main task and added Youtube videos and then uploaded to Blogger.
- I also wrote a brief story structural outline for my trailer.

- Decided on potential locations.
- Risk assessment for ancillary tasks.
- Risk assessment for main task.
